UCIA fingerprint submission requests expire 30 days after they have been processed by the ISP.
If the applicant does not contact ISP for results they have not received within 30 days, the applicant may need to resubmit fingerprints. The ISP prefers an email request at to contact the ISP by phone call 81, then select option #2. If you do not receive your results in 15 days, you must call the ISP to have them resend your response. Results will be mailed to the requesting individual from the IL State Police and should be received within 15 days, although it may take longer. A fingerprint services receipt noting the assigned Transaction Control Number (TCN) will be provided to the applicant at the completion of the fingerprint capture process. We will capture your fingerprints and transmit them, the same day, to the Illinois state Police (ISP). (Driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.) and payment if required*.
